At the time you will read this page, we might already be wedded, with no fuss, thanks to a diligent Raleigh city hall employee. But it should be said that Romance isn't dead yet! We are inviting you for a proper celebration, ceremony included. Vows will be exchanged, and you should have a chance to smell flowers, to listen to some music, to be tempted by the swimming pool, eat, drink and eventually encounter a couple of cows wandering around.
While we wait to see you on to that special day, we are sharing with you this website filled with updates on the wedding and couple insiders exclusives. As a final note, please visit the RSVP page to let us if you can attend our special day. Let us know as soon as possible so we can organize accordingly.

Schedule

Early Guests

We would serve an informal dinner to anyone arriving the day before. You will be asked in the RSVP section to confirm if you would be there. Informal also mean that there is no dress code requirement. Just chill, relax and get ready for the big day.

Domaine de La Goudalie - Rodelle

Ceremony

3:30 pm

Dress code:  farm formal - summer dress, summer suit that incorporates bold color or print, along with suspenders and boots or flat shoes!
A professional photograph will be there to immortalize your beautiful self.
Ceremony should start at 3 pm and would be followed by a Cocktail Hour.

Reception

7:30 pm

A tasty dinner will be served.
This event is kid-friendly, and to give parents a break, babysitters will be working during the afternoon and evening to take care and entertain the youngsters. There is also a room next to the reception for napping.
After dinner, of course, we will enjoy music entertainment and the lasting warmth of our French summers.

Travel

Domaine de La Goudalie
12340 Rodelle, France
Rodelle is a short trip away from Rodez, in the South of France. To get there, you can fly, take a train, or drive.
See below a few travel tips.

Fly To Wedding Destination.

The wedding will happen close to a city named RODEZ. Click the red button to check the local tiny airport information. There are daily connections with Paris, and low-cost flights from/to London, Dublin and Charleroi.
You might save money or find more convenient if you plan to visit the country by opting in landing in larger cities such as Paris, Toulouse, Montpellier, or even Albi.

Take a Train.

A more affordable option would be to fly to a larger airport nearby, and take a train to Rodez.
The last miles to Rodez can be slow, so you can as well stop in a larger city 2-hour-ish away to experience speed train: Toulouse or Montpellier. And work out your last miles renting a car, or asking other guests to take you with them.

Rent a car.

If you decide to rent a car, keep in mind that French rentals tend to be pricier. Unlimited mileage might not be included, and you might be charged for extra miles past 200 kilometers. Also, gas prices and highway tolls are usually high in France.
If you can get close enough, we will try to put you in touch with other people driving to the wedding. No promises!
You should have no problem finding the domain using a GPS, and parking is free. Foreign driver licenses are ok. Just check the French signs and a few driving tips on this site.

Accommodation

We have rooms blocked off for wedding guests on-site, in the Domain itself. There are double-beds, or family set options.  You would also enjoy the swimming pool Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Sunday morning. When you RSVP, you will be invited to confirm if you are interested in staying there.

A nearby hotel, 15-min drive to La Goudalie:
Hôtel Causse Comtal
Route d'Espalion
12630 Gages

You can also opt to stay in the city of Rodez! Old stones, good food, beautiful cathedral, and the very surprising museum Soulages.

Gifts

We are already gifted with each other, and our house if well-equipped. So we do not ask for any gifts, and we did not create a registry.
This being said, as many of you might know, we started our parenthood journey, and little Si-Zi is in our near future. Any contribution to the baby fund is welcomed (and again don't feel obligated, spend your dollars on your plane tickets instead).
